So I'm on a work trip in Ft. LAUDERDALE and one of my coworkers tells me about it this Italian restaurant near the hotel. Now when I tell you she was raving....she was going on and on about how good the food was. She was telling is how she referred someone else and they couldn't get enough of it. I was like lady you doing the most. Then she was like im Italian, so I figured she's Italian she should know what she's talking about. So changed got dressed and walked to there. So we pull up to Louie Bossi's. On a Tuesday Night it was packed!!!! Without reservations it was a 45 mins wait. Luckily we walked around and found 2 spots at the bar. First off was a drink, long day of work deserves a stiff drink. I Ordered an amaretto Sour, and my coworker got an old fashioned. Talking about adult drinks they didn't spare the liquor. Strong but flavorful. You can tell when a drink is made from scratch. Best sour drink I've had by far. The sour mix was made fresh!!! Next was food. Now I'm not Italian so I had no idea how to order the food you pronounce zpapsosoa... Exactly. The food came quick, and even with one of the dishes coming out wrong it was replaced in less than 5 mins. I've never been to Italy but this had to be the most authentic I've tasted so far. Fresh, hot, full of flavors. This wasn't an Olive Garden, or macaroni Grill tasted less franchised and more Italian Grandma. Another one for the books.
